Four years ago, I lived in Brazil six months, and it totally changed me! From the very beginning, I learned valuable lessons that have stayed with me ever since:

1. They taught me how to live and embrace each moment, each instant, because you never know if it’s going to come back.
   
2. They showed me that life is like a dance… you can plan some movements, but for it to become meaningful, you have to embrace its flexibility and surrender to the rhythm.
   
3. They taught me to smile whether the weather is good or bad because after the rain always comes the sun.
   
4. They taught me to be open to new experiences, new cultures, and new people.
   
5. They taught me to embrace every part of myself, the ones I judge and the ones I love, as all being part of me.
   
6. They showed me how to love, not only romantically but also the love of life, the love of the sun shining every day, and the love of the sounds of ocean waves.
   
7. They showed me the meaning of family, not always the one you come from, not always the blood one, but sometimes just people you randomly meet while traveling that become soul family.
   
8. They opened my eyes to the little things we take for granted, like accessible water or basic needs…
   
9. They taught me to go with the flow and the real meaning of freedom, like dancing on an empty beach or screaming on top of a mountain.
   
10. They showed me real friendship and the deep connection that comes from sharing experiences and supporting each other.
    
11. They showed me that even when you feel alone, you are never alone because there are always people who care and communities that will welcome you.
    
12. They taught me that humor can fix any situation and lighten the heaviest of hearts.
    
13. They showed me that no situation whatsoever deserves for you to lose your calmness and your composure.
    
14. They taught me to take life lightly, because nothing is that serious, that it’s okay to have fun, and to enjoy every moment.
    
15. Finally, they showed me the importance of resilience in overcoming challenges, and the power of perseverance in pursuing one’s dreams.

These lessons continue to inspire me to push forward, no matter the obstacles, and to believe in the possibility of achieving my aspirations.
