Truth, Courage, and the End of Illusion

Maybe people are not that complicated; most people aren’t. People want to feel seen. They want to see in your eyes that you recognize the struggle. Life isn’t easy; it’s not meant to be easy. But the test is there: the person you are becoming through everything you go through.

Sometimes life gives you signs, and these can be very obvious if you learn to see—beyond the masks, beyond the illusions—you see the truth. And the truth can be hard sometimes; that’s why most people spend their lives hiding from it. If these past years have taught me anything, it is that truth can’t be avoided. At some point, everyone has to face it, either by choice or by force. You can’t fight it. It might take a few days, it might take a month, it might take years, but the truth always comes out. So what’s the point of hiding?

Most of the time, the only thing keeping you from facing that truth is courage. And courage can be hard to find sometimes. Truth can be very destabilizing; it can shake your world, it can change you, transform you—and all that is very scary, isn’t it? One question for you: are you choosing the safety of a comfortable lie or the truth that cannot be avoided? How scared are you of that truth, and why?

On a larger scale, the world has been living for years, comfortable with lies. But we live in a time when truth cannot be avoided anymore. Anything or anyone trying to keep the truth from coming out will be dismantled in one way or another. We are called to bring back courage, to choose consciousness instead of reactivity, and we are called to bring integrity as the norm—and to stay awake even when reality is too hard to see.

Since 2024, the truth has come out, one by one, and no institution or form of power could avoid it. And this movement will not go quiet. It will become louder in the next few years, whether the world is ready for it or not. It cannot stay silent anymore. It will show up as individuals choosing truth over lies, as people waking up from a state of deluded certainty. Reality is no longer something that can be tamed or narratively manipulated. It will show whether the world is ready for it or not.

In all this movement, the question for each individual will be a choice: to stand with the truth or to continue encouraging an illusion that cannot be maintained anymore. This choice will shape each individual’s character and the impact each has on the world. Adam Smith describes this movement with the invisible hand: each individual, through their actions, shapes the world on a larger scale. And this will show up more and more in the coming years, especially regarding truth.

So, which will be your choice? Standing with truth in your own life, or stubbornly continuing with a lie that cannot prevail?

Trusting it will bring some light to someone’s shadow,
